Administrative AssistantPR - CAROLINA
Pay Rate: $12 - $15 per hour
Objective of the Administrative Assistant:
The primary objective of an administrative assistant with construction knowledge is to provide efficient and high quality administrative support to a construction team or company in the construction industry. This position requires organizational skills, skills in managing programs such as Excel and Project Management, as well as bilingual communication proficiency to facilitate communication with English speaking clients and collaborators.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
- Provide assistance with daily administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, preparing reports and organizing documents.
- Utilize your construction knowledge to understand and document technical aspects of projects, communicating them effectively to the team.
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track budgets, costs, scheduling and other company related metrics.
- Utilize Project Management software to plan, schedule and track the progress of projects, collaborating with project managers and the team.
- Facilitate communication with English-speaking customers and collaborators, both written and oral.
- Maintain organized documentation and records for easy reference and access.
Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related career.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry and related processes is required.
- Skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, including the creation of spreadsheets, formulas and charts.
- Familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Ability to maintain orderly and accessible documents and records.
