Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Title Officer to join our team at our leading title company in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in all aspects of the title process and will have experience in closing transactions from start to finish. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the title process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations and company policies
- Review and analyze title reports and other documents related to title clearance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external parties, including real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys, to ensure smooth and timely closings
- Prepare closing documents and coordinate the closing process with all parties involved
- Resolve any title issues that may arise during the closing process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records related to each transaction
- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the transaction process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Title Officer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of the title process, including title clearance and closing procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all parties involved in a transaction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Title Agent license preferred
