Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal/Closer to join our busy real estate law firm in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, with experience in handling closings, title work, and other real estate-related transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct title searches, review title reports, and resolve any title issues that may arise
• Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions
• Coordinate and manage real estate closings, including preparing closing documents, coordinating with all parties involved, and conducting closings
• Communicate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
• Assist attorneys with research and analysis related to real estate law
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records related to real estate transactions
• Assist with general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
• 3+ years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on closings and title work
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and real estate-related software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
