Job brief for merchandiser
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price.

Responsibilities for merchandiser

• Restock merchandise from warehouse to sales floor
• Verify merchandise arrived correctly from boxes and cross reference with
• invoices
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Stocking and cleaning all shelves on the floor
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Lifting, opening, and relocating boxes
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Organize T-shirts on the floor
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Hang, price, label T-shirts
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Price Merchandise for displaying on the floor.
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Run errands such as pick up lunch, post office, bank, etc.
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Assist cashiers with packing and clearing heavy customer rushes
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Sell merchandise on the floor by helping customers
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Sweeping, moping, and general maintenance work
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Windex exterior windows as needed.
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Work with the glue gun to create magnets and crafts and fix damaged merchandise
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Any other duties as required by the business
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and timescales
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
• The merchandiser will be in charge of Remain up to date with industry's best practices

Requirements and skills

Proven working experience in merchandising
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
Commercial acumen and the ability to "decode customers
