 We are seeking a Title Officer with a background in real estate to join
our team. This role could be based in Michigan, New York, or involve working remotely.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Review title products and coordinate with clients to obtain documentation needed to clear title
• Answer customer inquiries through phone and email with a high level of customer service
• Use technical bulletins and other resources to evaluate and resolve problems
• Review and approve a variety of documentation including easements, leases, operating
agreements, trusts, wills, affidavits of heirships, corporate resolutions, partnership agreements,
and state filed Articles of Incorporation and Articles of Organization
• Draft and complete commitments, endorsements, owner and loan policies in connection with
insured transactions
• Prepare and complete policy jacket and closing protection letters
• Confer with local counsel, as needed, to review title files and on matters that require escalation
Qualifications Required:
• Familiarity with all aspects of title work
• Familiarity in the overall structure and closing of real estate transactions
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with existing as well as new clients
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment to handle all aspects of title support
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure on both single site transactions and portfolio projects
• Excellent customer service orientation, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detailed oriented, with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Qualia and MS Excel an advantage

• 3-5 years of title experience
• Strong knowledge of real estate
