Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting real estate closing transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication with both internal and external customers including lenders, borrowers, notaries, vendors, attorneys and county offices. Utilizes general knowledge and subject matter expertise of mortgage loan documents and recording requirements at the various counties nationwide. Demonstrates intermediate technical aptitude and knowledge of systems and tools. Accountable for meeting or exceeding hourly SLAs to meet time-sensitive production goals with accuracy and professionalism. Resolves closing issues that may impact signing and funding dates.
  • *Compiles documents for closing package including preparation of Title documents, ATLA Settlement Statement and gathering of state specific forms, tax information and order payoffs 
  • *Identifies and resolves complex informational or clerical errors related to vesting, loan amount, payoff and taxes in a timely manner
  • *Reviews loan documents for accuracy and completion to ensure CD balances with ALTA; follows up with lender if ATLA modifications are required
  • *Calculates title fees, transfer taxes, recording fees and payoffs to resolve incorrect monetary amounts.
  • *Runs report on outstanding loan documents, outstanding subordinations and dual signings; follows up with lender to requests missing documents or information
  • *Responds to lender closing inquiries via inbox and/or integration system
  • *Handles inquiries and resolves issues received via phone/email from internal departments and external parties including clients, borrowers and notaries
  • *Utilizes multiple sources including websites, government offices and/or other financial institutions to research, analyze and resolve complex issues
  • * Runs SSP reports and follows up with vendors to ensure timely assignment of notary if needed
  • *Schedules closing transactions for specific states
  • *Provide side-by-side training on existing processes and procedures
  • * Analyzes audits and closing related trends, identifies opportunities for internal and external process and service improvements
  • *May support ad hoc projects as needed
  • * Performs daily pipeline management routines required to meet established SLAs
  • *Performs other duties as assigned by management
