This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team of a well respected Title Insurance company in Fort Worth.  We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, polished and professional.
The ideal Escrow Assistant will have at least 2 years of lead experience with residential or commercial title experience. 

The Escrow Assistant supports the Escrow Officer in achieving closing team goals and objectives. This role works closely with buyers, sellers, realtors, and lenders to achieve harmonious closing transactions.
 

Responsibilities

  • Reception duties for branch, including answering inbound calls and greeting customers with a warm, inviting presence
  • Receive and open orders for lender transactions
  • Send out fee quotes to various lenders for title insurance and title related fees
  • Review title documents and property reports, and send to customers
  • Work closely with lender and/or borrowers on curative matters
  • Provide invoices for closed files
  • Disburse closed files and prepare file for policy
  • Acts as an effective team member by providing assistance as needed and encouraging others to perform at peak levels
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • Must be Bilingual (Spanish)
  • RamQuest knowledge is preferred
  • Escrow Officer License preferred
  • Sound proficiency and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such proportions and title premiums
  • Solid knowledge on Texas home equity rules and regulations
  • Some knowledge on Florida home equity and refinance rules a plus
  • Exceptional client and customer service skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and organization skills  
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting; flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
  • Skilled in being a self-motivating, analytical, and proactive team player 

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience in the title & escrow insurance or mortgage lending industry
