A growing company is searching for a motivated, reliable and task-oriented Escrow Assistant to work for a title insurance company in San Diego (Mission Valley). The Escrow Assistant will work directly with the Branch Manager as well as the Escrow Officer. The candidate we are seeking should be capable of managing their workload and is able to work quickly and accurately under time constraints. General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Opening orders and inputting closing statements
  • Ordering demands
  • Gathering client information and entering data into the computer system
  • Preparing documents for closing, funding, and recording of escrow transactions
  • Order title reports
  • Conduct escrow signings
  • Prepare, assemble, and deliver escrow documents
  • Communicating with clients and responding to information requests


Job Requirements

  • Must be familiar with escrow rules and procedures
  • Must have 3-5 years' experience as an Escrow Assistant or Processor
  • Know the ethical requirements of the business and uphold a strict level of privacy of clients
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong follow-through
  • Must be a team player
  • Have a good grasp of standard escrow software applications
